Imagine your voice taking on the qualities of a violin or your coffee cup and pen becoming a drum set. Even your cat could sing a bird song!

Neutone Morpho processes audio directly, bypassing the traditional MIDI convention based on pitch and velocity. This approach enables the capture of even the most subtle nuances from your input audio. If you use a violin model, your humming will be interpreted as bowing, and tongue clicking will generate string-plucking sounds.

Built on the respected Neutone Fx plugin (originally called just Neutone) and its efficient inference engine for AI audio models, Neutone Morpho introduces a new tone morphing algorithm we developed from scratch. The “Morpho” algorithm, after which we named the plugin, allows for faster training on less data while maintaining high audio quality and fidelity.

The plugin comes equipped with a variety of pre-loaded Morpho models. Additional models, offering a wide range of timbres and tones, are available for purchase on the plugin. We ensure to our users the legal use of all our models by curating training data that is either in the public domain or licensed, respecting the copyright of the musical work adopted as a dataset.

 

Together with Morpho, we’re pleased to announce the coming launch of Neutone Cocoon, an online service for model training. In a few months, this service will enable you to train your own Morpho models that will be instantly available in the plugin for experimentation. With Cocoon you can finally make any source sound like your favorite childhood toy piano or your own humming voice!

 

Using Neutone Cocoon, we’ll collaborate closely with artists to create “artist” models trained on their music materials. We will share the revenue from the model sales with the artists, serving as another method to support the community, while delivering models in the sonic likeness of your favorite artists.

Support and development of our community-based plugin, now renamed Neutone Fx, along with the open-source Neutone SDK will continue. Our goal remains to make significant contributions to the music community through interactive, AI-powered, creative tools.

 

Neutone Morpho is more than just a plugin. It is our first step to challenge the status quo of AI creative tools and offer better alternatives for artists and musicians.
