AI Model Training Engineer Internship
We are looking for an AI Model Training Engineer to join our team! Partnering closely with our CEO, you will spend time working with our flag-ship products, Neutone Morpho and Cocoon. This is a chance to help shape the future of our products here at Neutone while having an outsized impact on a small team.
Duties
- Collecting/curating/pre-processing training data
- Managing the training process and experiments
- Testing trained models and quality control
- Compiling info on trained models and crafting presets
- Liaising with partner artists and stake holders
Requirements
- Basic Python, Machine Learning experience and familiarity with Pytorch, Tensorflow or other relevant frameworks
- English fluency
- Based in Japan, open to potentially relocating, or working Tokyo hours
- Interested or experienced in music making is a plus
Frontend/UI Intern
We are looking for a Frontend/UI Developer to join our team! Partnering closely with our design team, you will work on several audio plugins and our website using a modern tech stack. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on small prototypes using creative coding techniques. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our products while making a significant impact in a small, dynamic team.
Duties
- Developing and maintaining user interfaces using Next.js/React
- Creating engaging visual tools using p5.js and Three.js
- Collaborating with designers and backend developers to implement new features
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimizing applications for speed and scalability
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our tools and workflows
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Next and React
- Interest in creative coding
- Familiarity with music-making software (e.g DAWs) is a plus
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- English fluency
- Based in Japan, open to relocation, or remote work with weekly meetings
