    Who are you at Neutone?

Hi! I’m Naoki Ise. I’m in charge of the direction and design of the visual team of Neutone. I mainly work on graphic design and typography related to art, AI, and music.

    What do you work on?

I work on the visual aspects of Neutone with Matthias and Mike. For example, things like the logo and website. Because the visual team has grown, it’s rare for us to create something on our own. We always discuss and gradually shape things like the logo. That’s how we proceed with our creation.

    Why are you doing this?

I live my life listening to music 24/7, and I’m always stimulated by all kinds of music. I feel fortunate to be able to work with plugins, the tools that create this music. I’m happy to contribute to music with what I’m good at!

What do you hope Neutone Morpho offers artists/musicians?

I would be happy if through the process of Morpho‘s AI morphing, we can create a tone that can only be produced by Morpho, and new ideas are generated from there.

    What’s next!?

With Neutone Morpho, Cocoon, and other new releases coming one after another, I want to maintain the basic overall design system that our original designer, Alvaro, has created while making each plugin unique and characteristic.

What are you listening to these days? 🎧

It’s the soundtrack of a movie, perhaps ambient. Recently, I watched “Dune: Part Two”, so I was listening to Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack in the bathroom. It’s strangely fitting to listen to the music of a desert planet on a small water planet (the bathroom !). On the other hand, I listen to Max Richter’s ”Sleep” when I’m about to sleep, enjoying music in accordance with the environment.
